Hamilton as a watch company is very undervalued in our opinion. Founded in 1892, Hamilton dates back to over 130 years ago and through these years they were involved in both World Wars as watchmakers for the US and even after that with the Korean War, Vietnam and so on. It was also the watch brand to be iconically seen on Elvis Presley's wrist and in today's world can be found working with many major movies and video games.
What you have here is a "civilian" model of their military field watches and these were available at Brookstone retailers. Similar to the L.L. Bean Hammys but these examples would not share the name the dial, just the Brookstone branding under the 12 o’clock.
