The Weekplanner Hemipod is an example you don't often see. It is powered by the ETA 2892.A2 which has a crazy complication. All in all, it features the moon phase, day of the week, day of the month, month, and even the actual week of the year. The moon phase isn't the traditional complication. The moon itself stays in position on the bottom of the register while a plate turns over the moon to display the actual moon phase. The orange hand indicates the specific week out of the year and the month. All these functions are changed via the four pushers on the side of the case.

The case itself is 44mm but keep in mind it has no lugs which means it actually wears much smaller than its dimensions. On my wrist, which is a little over seven inches, it wears great and it's very comfortable.

Ikepod, a Swiss watch company founded in 1994 by Oliver Ike and Marc Newson, is known for its disc-shaped design watches. The brand was acquired by Mauborget Switzerland in April 2017 and is now produced in Hong Kong with Japanese Miyota quartz movements. The new Ikepods, designed by Swiss watch designer Emmanuel Gueit, include a 42mm time-only watch called the Duopod and a 44mm chronograph model called the Chronopod. The new models are based on the original Ikepod Horizon and Hemipode models and feature the same elliptic forms, 316L steel cases, and original silicone hypoallergenic straps. The Duopods and Chronpods wear more like 39mm and 41mm watches due to the lack of external lugs and the case tapers at the edges. Ikepod was relaunched on Kickstarter in September 2018, and the new models are expected to be more affordable than the original Ikepod models.
