The Speedmaster is usually associated with matte black dials, utilitarian bracelets, and the functional design of the Moonwatch, which makes the reference 3534.79 feel almost completely removed from the conventional Speedmaster formula. Produced during a particularly experimental period for Omega, this configuration combines familiar Speedmaster chronograph architecture with a far more decorative mother-of-pearl dial. Red Arabic numerals bring an additional layer of color to the design and stand dramatically against the shifting surface underneath.
