The Jaeger LeCoultre Master collection, first introduced in 1992, is a vintage-inspired watch collection rooted in the 1950s aesthetic. The Master Ultra-Thin ref. 145.8.79.S, from the late 1990s to early 2000s, features a simple silver dial and a 33mm stainless steel case. The watch has sharp dauphine hands, dagger indices, and Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. The display is reserved and traditional, reflecting the mid-century dress watch inspiration. The Ultra Slim is a wearable watch that speaks to the collection's original source of inspiration, the 1950s, and celebrates JLC's impressive craftsmanship through its manual-wind Cal. 849 movement. The movment is on display thanks to an exhibition caseback. The movement is also only 1.5mm thin and it's housed in a slim 5.4mm case.
