As you can see, this vintage Movado has signs of wear but has been well kept for its lifetime of almost 100 years now. The solid 14k gold case is very clean with minimal signs of wear, the inside of the caseback features all the engravings and stamps from when it was first sold. The dial is filled with character and has aged like a beautiful vintage book while all the markers and the Tiffany stamp have stayed intact.

There isn't much to say about this model because there isn't really much out there when it comes to the information on this watch. What we do know is this watch was born in the 30s with a beautiful, long, tank case and a dial that lets us know it was retailed by Tiffany & Co. This watch comes from an era where retailers were more involved in the watches. If you didn't open up this watch you wouldn't know its a Movado.

It's also from a time where Movado made some of the best watches in my opinion, from the 30s to the 50s. Beautiful and classic dress watches that rivaled some of the biggest names. For example, the Cintree. If this watch was a Cartier Cintree from the 20s or 30s, the price would be unimaginable. That same comparison might be what makes this watch so great. For a fraction of the cost, you get a truly vintage watch, from two of the biggest names from that time, Movado and Tiffany & Co.

Movado, founded in 1881 by Achilles Ditesheim, is a Swiss watchmaker known for its innovation and Swiss craftsmanship. The brand has over 100 patents and 200 international awards for watch design and time technology. The Movado Museum Watch, designed by Nathan George Horwitt, is the first watch dial to be accepted by the Museum of Modern Art, New York, into its permanent design collection.

Gedalio Grinberg, the founder of Movado Group, was a visionary entrepreneur who escaped Cuba in the early 1960s and came to the United States with his family. He was instrumental in overcoming the challenging period in the 1970s and establishing luxury watch marketing.

Movado Group acquired several licensed brands, including Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, and Scuderia Ferrari from 1998 to 2012. In 2017, Movado Group acquired Olivia Burton, a London-based fashion watch and jewelry brand, and MVMT, a multi-category millennial brand. Olivia Burton is one of the UK's fastest-growing fashion watch and jewelry brands, founded by Jemma Fennings and Lesa Bennett in 2011.

MVMT, a multi-category millennial brand, focuses on authentic relationships and engaging consumers through best-in-class digital/social content. The brand is now in 20 museums across the globe.
